An Angel

I am originally from Connecticut..I moved to New Hampshire in March of last year. I joined Etsy in September of last year...

Any ways, right after I joined, I was posting in the letter change threads.. just having fun, and saw this woman Jackierose was also from Connecticut. Said Hi, told her that I was also from CT, and we jsut started talking thru etsy at first, then thru regular emails.... In the beginning I was there for her, just by talking with her..etc.. But we both could feel, that we were destined to meet.. just a weird feeling is all..

At the end of November of last year, I had found out that my husband of less then a year, has lung cancer. Jackie is the one that helped me get thru this, listening to me.. helping me stay strong, letting me just vent.. Things got really hard here financially with him being out of work... This being our first Christmas together as a family, was supposed to be special... The only thing that my ( well our now) 11 yr old daughter asked for, for christmas, was an American Girl Swedish Doll ( we are 1/2 swedish and 1/2 english).. they are about 125.00 at least.... which was way more then we could ever have done for her this year.. Jackie had asked what MayBeth ( my daughter) had wanted for christmas.. and I told her... She went and ordered it for MayBeth, with the whole out fit for St lucia's day (Swedish Christmas) not only did she do that, but she sewed outfits for the doll as Well.... She is MayBeths Christmas angel.....my daughter and I had always done the Christmas Angel tree.( its where you get a gift for someone that would not have a gift for Christmas) but this year we could not...MayBeth does know about Jackie, and knows about how she got her doll.. Well if you could've seen MayBeths face Christmas morning.. it was a true testament to beleive in Angels at Christmas...
Jackie is still here for me, to vent etc.... My husband will be having the tumors removed on tues (the 22nd of jan) and it is still a long road for us.. but with her here for me, I know I will make it mentally......she also had put 150.00 into my paypal account for us to get some groceries..

Jackie is a wonderful generous person.. and as I have told her so many times.. those that have her in their lives are truely blessed
